This is the Bella Dulcimers D-50 transducer pickup with a built in volume control and cable included. This pickup is designed to be mounted on the side (bass side) of the dulcimer in line with the 10th fret. (This is a general location, please find what works best for your particular needs.) As with any pickup system a good quality preamp is highly recommended.
