Tony Vines
Born and raised in East Tennessee, Tony Vines has been a musician and professional luthier for over 35 years. His guitars have been on stage with many great artist including Martina McBride, Clay Walker, Restless Heart, and most notably in the hands of Johnny Cash. Additionally his instruments can be heard on numerous studio recordings and seen in the National Music Museum in South Dakota.
Early in his career he was the owner/operator of a full time musical instrument repair shop logging hundreds of repairs and modifications. This experience proved to be extremely profitable to his approach in construction and design of acoustic instruments. Tony was always drawn to the mountain dulcimer and after many years of successful acoustic guitar making, Bella Dulcimers was born. Being impressed with the dulcimer community and its love for music, he wanted to be a part of that too!
